how it work

The system consists of a Raspberry Pi-based thermostat with a temperature sensor and Thermine-app that acts as a monitor and control dashboard. From the app, you have the live rooms temperatures and set your target. As well as view your mining live data from Ocean Pool, local hashrate with csv download, etc. Other features will be unlocked in the app in the future.

The Thermine-raspi software is free and open source, and can be installed on any Linux-based system that can receive signals from a sensor. We recommend at least Raspberry OS on Pi5 with at least 8GB. This can also be your Knots node where you can install Datum and CLN for lightning payouts from Ocean pool.

The app communicates with the Raspberry Pi, which automatically recognizes all miners within the LAN and the type of firmware installed, and acts on them through the public firmware APIs based on the temperatures you set.

It work automatically with the most used advanced firmwares such as Braiins, Luxor, Vnish and more will be added thanks also to opensource contributors.

The framework generally allows external control of the miner based on any type of sensor to manage more complex applications, opening up multiple applications and connections with other network protocols such as MQTT.
